SOTA-style local expedition using bicycle and Lidl 12V batteries + 12V powerbanks with PD/QC trigger. Enjoyed some heavy rain during the night, not a problem with proper tarp. Linked Inv-V worked quite well even just 6 meters above the ground, I started making it from scratch at 8:00 GMT. Thanks for your patience with QRP, 73 and CUAGN.

I operated an EFHW of 20m length with 2 watts output using the uSDX,
limited by my laptop’s and the uSDX's batteries. After recharging both
the batteries and the operator, I was ready for some more hours.
This was my first participation, operating from the southwest of Crete
during my vacation.
The antenna height was close to sea level. (see in the photo gallery)
Thanks to everyone for your patience with me.
I used Not1mm as my logger on a Linux laptop.

Das Wetter war bis auf einen kurzen Regenschauer vor Aufbau perfekt.
Viele Helfer haben die Antennen in die Hoehe gebracht, vielen Dank dafuer.

Setup wie immer K3 + 4 Band Dipol 160-20m, dieses Jahr mit neuem Auto (als Shack) was leider spürbar kleiner ist. Einen Neuen OP konnten wir auch gewinnen, somit konnten wir das erste mal seit Jahren die volle Zeit durchziehen, Technik hat dieses Jahr zu 100% funktioniert. Antenne nur auf 17m hochgezogen, 5m wären noch drin gewesen aber wenns einmal so gut hängt. Hauptaktivität war mehr auf den Highbands, was für unser Setup nicht optimal ist, deutlich weniger Multis auf den Lowbands.
Gegen Mitternacht ein kurzer aber Starker Regenschauer mit einem Blitz, ansonsten schönes Wetter.
Für den SSB FD schon einige neue Ideen die den Aufbau erleichtern, aber nicht unbedingt die Antennensituation verbessern, wir werden halt älter, und müssen Kompromisse machen.
Mal sehen wie lange der Standort überhaupt noch Fieldday tauglich ist, die Antennenbäume verschwinden, und ein ebenbürtiges Ersatz QTH zu finden wird schwierig.

Schade, in DL weniger /p-Stationen als möglich gewesen wäre. Denn Draußenfunk ist ja "in". Es gibt daher jede Menge spontane kurzentschlossene /p-Aktivität, die aber wegen der immer noch starren Anmelderegeln für den Contest nicht aktiviert werden kann. Auch hier Zeit für Entbürokratisierung und Abschaffung der antiquierten Anmeldeklauseln. Ansonsten: Schöne Aktion trotz noch nicht gemähter Contestwiese. Alles tragbar ohne Auto - geht doch :-)

Trotz Operatorausfall dank dem Team ein tolles Ergebnis erzielt. Antennen (Full-Size-Dipole plus Hexbeam) sowie Station spielte einwandfrei. Schönes Wetter zu Auf- und Abbau, leckere Würstchen und viele QSO für einen rundum gelungenen Fieldday.

Started with awful conds but made loads of contacts during the night. Highly motivated team of DM5EE, DL2OBF, DK7AC, DL6ABB and DL4OCE. Highly minimalistic setup with IC-705 and simple wire antenna for all bands at abt 6 mtrs height, as well.

Meine erste Teilnahme in der SO/QRP-Klasse endete vorzeitig in einem Fiasko. Noch vor dem ersten QSO gab der TRX seinen Geist auf. Nach einer halben Stunde war ein Ersatzgerät da (tnx DC3JD). Nach einer weiteren Stunde gab es massive Probleme mit der Stromquelle. Alles half nix, 1635 UTC aufgegeben, die Antenne abgebaut und nach Hause gefahren. So lernt man gleichzeitig 2 Lektionen. Beim nächsten Mal klappt es besser (schlechter kann es ja wohl nicht werden).
